HP Watermakers continues to innovate the marine industry with the launch of the new version of HP GENIUS, the drinking water dispenser designed to offer an even more efficient and comfortable on-board experience. Lighter and easier to install, this system allows you to obtain fresh, sparkling and purified water directly from the kitchen tap, eliminating bacteria and impurities to ensure maximum quality thanks to an advanced filtration system.
Unveiled during the Düsseldorf 2025 trade fair, the system features a new design, introducing an ultra-strong polycarbonate shell, reducing the overall weight to just 15 kg without compromising robustness. In addition, an advanced thermostat allows the water to reach the desired temperature even faster, making the HP GENIUS ideal for daily use.
Connected directly to the on-board fresh water network, HP GENIUS provides room temperature, chilled and carbonated water, eliminating chlorine and other pollutants through a high-performance filter. At the heart of the system is the bactericidal silver ion treatment, which guarantees safe, high quality water.
A handy control pad allows you to easily adjust the temperature, choose the desired water type and manage any maintenance alarms.
HP GENIUS and other desalinators
Alongside the new HP GENIUS, the company exhibited the HP SCA DOUBLE series, fully automated desalinators with capacities from 260 to 1,200 litres/hour. The RP Tronic system allowed automatic pressure adjustment, eliminating the need for manual intervention. The dual-unit design optimised energy consumption, allowing one or both modules to be activated as required, while the redesign of the low-pressure pumps reduced the length of the box from 1,100 mm to 800 mm.
For boats between 35 and 50 feet, HP Watermakers proposed the HP KILO, a compact 120 litre/hour desalinator with a consumption of just 1 kWh. Powered by 220V, it guaranteed reliable performance and a longer lifespan than 12V or 24V models. Its small dimensions (840x455x420 mm) made it ideal for tight spaces, offering an excellent solution for on-board water autonomy.
With more than 1,000 units produced each year in its factory just outside Milan, HP Watermakers stands out for the quality and reliability of its desalination and water treatment systems. ISO 9001-certified, the company develops cutting-edge technologies, including Part-NET, an interface compatible with leading on-board electronic systems.
Continuous innovation is the driving force behind HP Watermakers‘ growth. With HP GENIUS, HP SCA DOUBLE, and HP KILO, HP Watermakers redefines the standards for water on board, offering tailor-made solutions for every boating need.
The company is also strengthening its global presence through its ‘Together We Boat’ partnership, which includes key companies such as Mase, GenSet, Besenzoni, Mapei Marine and Feit Pompe. This strategic agreement aims to consolidate the European market and expand the presence in the United States, with the recent opening of an office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
