The world debut is set: from 17 to 25 January 2026, at boot Düsseldorf, the Parthenopean shipyard Santasevera will present to the public for the first time the new Santasevera 42, a 42 foot open cruiser destined to set a new benchmark in the premium segment. A craft that takes up and updates the stylistic identity of the Santasevera 52 – already enthusiastically received by the market – and that brings to the under-13 metre segment the same design philosophy signed Guida Design, a powerful synthesis of elegance, seafaring practicality and contemporary life on board.
The silhouette is streamlined, clean-cut, with a superstructure designed to offer real aerodynamic protection to the cockpit – the beating heart of the boat – allowing comfort and usability even in variable weather. The advanced helm position guarantees excellent visibility and frees up space for a surprisingly large cockpit for the category, an element that defines the Santasevera experience and makes it different from many competing proposals.
An initial hull will be on show at the Düsseldorf show; two others are already under construction, a clear sign of demand ahead of the public launch.
Design and liveability on board
The Santasevera 42 was created to fulfill the growing desire for freedom, aesthetics and functionality. At the stern takes shape a spacious beach club, open to the sea, with sundeck and generous swim platform. The C-shaped sofa accommodates the kitchen area in the outdoor living area, creating a natural continuity between relaxation, conviviality and movement.
Down the bow are two chaise longues designed to enjoy some relaxation during slow navigation or for those who like to spend hours in the sun. Below deck the layout remains flexible, adaptable to the owner’s needs: the forward cabin, bright and airy, can take on different configurations; it has a bathroom day head complete, to ensure privacy and functionality even on longer cruises.
She is a boat that lives and breathes together with her guests. A boat that does not impose, but accompanies.
The overall length is 12.55 metres, the maximum width is 4 metres. The capacities of the tanks – 1,000 litres of fuel, 380 litres of fresh water, 200 litres grey water and 100 litres black water – allow for prolonged navigation without the need for frequent stops.
Performance and hull
The waterlines are designed to face the sea with character. The deep-V hull promises stability on the waves and smooth handling, while the standard motorization – two 320 hp Volvo Penta D4s – allows a cruising speed of 26 knots and a maximum of 30 knots at half load, values that place the Santasevera 42 in a competitive segment and dedicated to even demanding navigation.
The propulsion of the unit on show in Düsseldorf will be inboard outboard, but alternatives are available outboard and IPS, each with power customisations to suit different navigation programs.
Francesco Guida comments on the debut of the new 42-footer as follows:
“We are delighted to present our new model, which embodies our contemporary vision of the open cruiser. The Santasevera proposals are not only elegant and functional: they express our idea of navigation as a pleasant and satisfying experience.”
The debut of the Santasevera 42 at the boot Düsseldorf 2026 represents a clear step in the Italian shipyard’s growth. A open cruiser that precisely interprets the concept of modern navigation: essential, concrete, designed for those who want to experience the sea with authenticity.
